The challenge

Renewal deadlines were tracked manually, which meant lapsed policies were discovered after the fact rather than prevented. The team needed the system to surface what was coming up, not wait to be asked.

What we did

    Modelled the renewal lifecycle as explicit stages so a policy is always in a known state.

    Built a dashboard that leads with what is due soonest rather than showing an undifferentiated list.

  3. 3

    Added automated reminders keyed to renewal dates so follow-up is triggered by the data.

    Kept a full history on each policy so the audit trail survives staff changes.
